My Story

I'm Elisa, and I've been living in the US for the past 5 years. My English teaching story began a couple of years ago during Christmas. I experienced a profound conversation topic during dinner, where everyone shared their resolutions for the New Year. It’s worth mentioning during that time I was already studying English and I was so passionate that I was doing it every single day.

Many people often say that in your life there is a turning point where you can either move forward or give up. It was my turn to share my resolutions and I declared “Next year, I will become a teacher”. It was unexpected and everyone was stunned. I’ve always wanted to pursue this path, but saying those words aloud made them feel real and powerful. Therefore, I decided to continue studying, eventually achieving certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. 

I launched an online English study group for women who aspire to learn English. This study group was based on effective practice method, which focuses on establishing new habits and training your brain and tongue muscles to enhance your English-speaking skills. I understood the challenges faced by those who are new to a language. I knew the struggle of trying to express your ideas and feeling that the words just don’t come out as you like. I knew the feeling related to feeling judged and I knew how to overcome these obstacles.

 As I gained more experience in teaching and further developed my skills, I created an Online English course to help non- native English speakers tackle those obstacles, improve their pronunciation, and enhance their fluency in a one-on-one learning environment.
